Describing a Process

I created my bag kite by first getting the required supplies. I got a large brown paper bag, a roll of strong string, a pair of scissors, a puncher, a stapler, paper ring reinforces, glue, coloured plastic bags and dried leaves.

Then I got to work on my kite. I started by perforating the sides of the bag and reinforced the holes with paper ring reinforces. Next I cut two lengths of string each 70cm long and passed each end trough one of the holes to form two loops. Then I cut another piece of string, also 70cm long, and tied the loops together. This became my kite’s handle.

I then decorated the kite by pasting dried leaves as neatly as possible. Afterwards I cut the plastic bags in neat strips and stapled these to the end of the kite so as to form the kite’s tail. Then I was ready to fly my kite.
